Unknown Mexico gives you the recipe to prepare a delicious corn bread.
INGREDIENTS FOR 6 TO 8 PEOPLE
- 100 grams of butter
- ½ cup of sugar
- 1 cup of corn kernels not very tender, ground
- 1 tablespoon of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter, mixed with one of corn oil to grease the steels
PREPARATION
Beat the butter with the sugar, add the corn kernels, the eggs one by one, mixing well, the flour, the baking powder and the salt. Preheat the steel very well on the burner, add the butter mixed with the oil and then the bread dough, cover the steel and leave it for approximately 10 minutes or until it sponges, turn the bread, using a lid, and leave it for about 10 more minutes.
PRESENTATION
On a round plate accompanied by freshly made coffee or chocolate.
