Other places that can arouse the interest of visitors will be two local museums of great importance to the entity. The first is the Regional Museum of Anthropology and History, whose museography highlights the most outstanding aspects of Western cultures. The museum is located at Avenida México No. 91 and Emiliano Zapata. Visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The second is the House Museum of the famous poet Amado NervoA proud Nayarite character born in 1870. The house preserves the original furniture that belonged to Nervo during his residence in this house. This museum is located in Zacatecas No. 284, and has a schedule from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
