If you like fish recipes, try making caviar with mullet roe. You will be surprised how easy and delicious this recipe is!
INGREDIENTS
(For 6 people)
- 1 cooked mullet roe
- ¼ cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
For the sauce:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 2 natural bell peppers ginned and chopped
- 1 bell pepper canned, chopped
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 4 finely chopped saladet tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of parsley
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 bay leaves
To accompany:
- Fried tortilla chips
PREPARATION
The sauce:
In a cup of olive oil, fry all the ingredients until they are chinitos. Season with salt to taste and strain into a thick strainer pressing well on the solids.
The mullet roe is grated on a grater and crumbled, the sauce, ¼ cup of oil and salt to taste are added.
PRESENTATION
The caviar is served in a deep bowl placed in the center of a round plate with the chips around.
