5 cups of milk
1½ cups sugar
1 vanilla bean (or, failing that, a teaspoon of extract)
5 egg yolks.

PREPARATION
Boil the milk with the cinnamon and vanilla (if a pod is used) for 20 minutes, add the sugar and boil for 20 more minutes. It is removed from the heat and the vanilla pod and the cinnamon stick are removed and allowed to cool completely. The yolks are beaten very well and mixed with the milk and the vanilla extract (if this is used). Eight heat-resistant molds are filled with the mixture and placed in a preheated oven at 180 ° C in a tray with water that reaches halfway through (water bath) for 20 minutes or until a toothpick in the center comes out clean. . They are removed from the oven and from the bain-marie and put under the grill for a few minutes to brown. They are refrigerated until very cold and served.

PRESENTATION
The molds are placed on a dessert plate; they can be worshiped with fresh flowers.
