Learn about these five ideal options for bathing and enjoying the exuberant vegetation of the state of Nayarit, favored by its location in the Tropic and on the western slope of the Sierra Madre del Sur. You will love them!

Being part of the western slope of the Sierra Madre del Sur, Nayarit is a state with a large number of tributaries that provide the landscape with the exuberance of the tropics. The vast majority of the clearings, springs, pools, waterfalls and rivers retain their original state, with slight transformations to provide the visitor with greater comfort. However, in most cases, the tourist will require the services of a guide to lead them, upstream or inland, to the hidden sanctuaries of the water.

1 La Tovara

To get to this spring, the source of the El Conchal river, you have to embark in La Aguada, south of San Blas. On the way upriver, the vegetation of mangroves, palm trees and lianas alternates with bushes and reeds, you can see the herons, parakeets, calandrias, pigeons and other birds that live there. The source of the river forms a natural pool of warm and crystalline water, populated with fish. There is a small restaurant on the bank of the river.

A vegetation of medium deciduous forest completes the picture of this landscape.

There is a changing room service, bathrooms, an area with chairs and tables to eat.
