Prepare some delicious shrimp with oregano with this recipe from Unknown Mexico. An excellent option for a light meal!
INGREDIENTS
(For 1 person)
- 8 shrimp size 21/25 (large)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- A few drops of lemon juice
- Salt to taste
sauce:
- ½ cup of good olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ground dried oregano
- 1 cup of white wine
- Salt to taste
PREPARATION
Butterfly shrimp are opened from tail to head to ¼ of total length. An opening is made in the head and the tail of the other shrimp is put there and so on until a crown is formed, sprinkled with a little lemon juice and sprinkled with salt to taste. Put two teaspoons of olive oil on the hot griddle and grill the crown, four minutes on each side.
The sauce: Heat the oil, add the oregano and fry for two seconds, add the white wine and salt to taste, leave it to consume for about two minutes and remove.
Note: This sauce can also be served with simply grilled shrimp, without crown.
PRESENTATION
In an individual dish accompanied by mashed potatoes, the crown is placed on a preheated plate and bathed with its sauce, served immediately.
