The Museum of Interventions exhibits objects that were witnesses to the history of Mexico.

The struggles that Mexico undertook with powerful foreign nations, throughout the 19th century and part of the 20th, to maintain independence and sovereignty, can be seen through the objects that were witnesses and participants in the history that the Museum of Interventions. The same museum building, a former Dieguino convent, was part of one of these battles when its square was the scene of the heroic Defense of Churubusco that on August 20, 1847, made the brave Mexican soldiers, under the command of General Anaya, of the attack. of the American army.

The subjects that are treated in the exhibition halls, inaugurated since 1981, are: French Intervention of 1838-1839, North American Intervention of 1846-1848; Second French Intervention of 1862-1867; North American Intervention of 1914 and the Punitive Expedition by the United States in 1916.
