- 250 grams of flank steak cut into pieces
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons of corn oil for frying
- 8 mushrooms sliced
- 50 grams of grated asadero or manchego cheese
- 1 clay pot with lid
PREPARATION
The flank steak is salted and sautéed in the hot oil, until it is golden brown but not overcooked. The mushrooms are added and sauté for a few seconds. This is poured into a saucepan and the cheese is added. Cover the casserole and put it on the fire to melt the cheese. It is served with Mexican salsa and corn and flour tortillas.
