Arroyo Seco is located in the vicinity of the town of Victoria, in the state of Guanajuato.

To get there, we recommend you take Highway No. 57, from Mexico City towards Querétaro to Amealco, and then continue along Route No. 45 to San Luis de la Paz, from which you can continue on Highway 110 until reaching Victoria.

The town of San Luis de la Paz is one of the oldest in the state of Guanajuato. Founded in 1552 as an outpost in the colonization of the Chichimeca lands, it soon became the seat of numerous cattle ranches and missions created by friars to spread the gospel among the natives. Its main attractions are its sober-looking buildings and the temple, built in a neoclassical style. San Luis is located 49 km northeast of Dolores Hidalgo along the s / n state highway.

Another town that you can visit while in this region of Guanajuato is Xichú, a settlement of mining origin whose boom occurred during the first half of the 20th century, thanks to its lead mines. If you have the opportunity, take a tour of Xichú at the beginning of October (exactly on the 4th), when the patron saint of the town, San Francisco de Asís, is celebrated. We guarantee that you will not forget the displays of color and beauty during the regional dance competitions that take place there, as well as the joy that prevails throughout the party with music, processions and fireworks. Also noteworthy is the fact that the new year is celebrated with musical groups that perform huapangos.
