INGREDIENTS

(Makes 30 to 40 pieces)

  • 1 kilo of thin dough for tortillas
  • ¼ liter of chicken broth not very salty
  • 150 grams of pancake (brown sugar) grated
  • 300 grams of lard
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 cups green beans cooked and chopped into medium pieces
  • 20 to 30 green corn leaves of the plant (not corn), well washed

PREPARATION

The dough is beaten very well with the broth and the ear until it is fluffy. The butter is very well beaten with the mixer. It is added to the dough and it continues beating until when you put a little pasta in a cup of water, it floats. Add the baking powder and green beans and mix well, and if you wish, add a little more salt. With a spoon, the leaves are smeared with this paste and wrapped with the same leaf. Place them in a steamer and cook for about 45 minutes or until the pasta comes off easily from the sheet.

PRESENTATION

They are placed on a platter, unwrapped; In the center of the table a large container is placed so that the leaves are deposited there.
