Recipe to prepare chonitas

Do you like quesadillas? Do not forget to follow this recipe to prepare chonitas, a very rich type of quesadilla that is worth cooking.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 kilo of good dough for tortillas
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

For the mushroom filling

  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely minced
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Garlic salt, onion salt, Maggi sauce and Worcestershire sauce to taste
  • 300 grams of mushrooms clean and sliced

For the cheese filling

  • 300 grams of grated aged cheese

For the rajas filling

  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 1 clove of garlic finely minced
  • Garlic salt, onion salt, Maggi sauce, Worcestershire sauce and pepper, to taste
  • 5 poblano peppers roasted, peeled, deveined and thinly sliced

PREPARATION

The dough is mixed with a little salt and with it twenty-four small tortillas are made, they are filled with the different fillings and they are put to fry until they take a nice golden color. Drain on absorbent paper and serve on a plate, one of each flavor, decorated with cream and lettuce.

Mushroom filling: In the hot oil, fry the onion and garlic, add the mushrooms, the bay leaf, the garlic and onion salt, the Maggi sauce and the English sauce and let it all season very well.

Slit filling: It is done the same as with the previous filling.
