Tepetongo Recreational Center

San José Purúa

Along the same access road to San José Purúa, just before reaching Jungapeo, is the Agua Blanca, whose spring has the same qualities as the previous one, including a superb landscape; it also has an acceptable hotel.

Kingdom of Atzimba
Located in Zinapécuaro, a water park that has two private pools and three large pools, one for waves, another for slow current and slides.

Cointzio
Located at 8.4 km. southeast of Morelia, on the road that goes to Pátzcuaro.It has restaurant service and private baths and its waters are thermal.

El Ejido and El Edén
In Tenencia de Morelos, the same path from the previous spa (Cointzio) leads us to this place In this town are the springs that nourish these sites, of mesothermal waters applicable for their chemical properties in the treatment of gastritis, enteritis, colitis and diseases of the skin. The proximity to Morelia facilitates accommodation in hotels for all tastes and budgets.

Ixtlán de los Hervores
From Morelia take highway No. 15 that goes towards Ocotlán to the municipality of Ixtlán. In the place there are several hot springs that have not been exploited. An additional and much visited attraction is the geyser that reaches great heights known as Ixtlán de los Hervores, which offers an impressive spectacle. The waters of these springs have a content of calcium and magnesium bicarbonate, as well as sodium and potassium chloride. This site has changing rooms, toilets and children's games, soon it will have cabins and camping areas.
