1 onion, finely sliced Salt to taste Flour for flour Oil for frying
For the mashed potatoes
1 large potato, cooked without skin 1/4 cup very hot milk 1 large chunk of butter Salt, pepper and nutmeg, to taste
PREPARATION
On the grill or in a heavy greased saucepan, seal the fillet for 5 minutes on each side (medium). It is seasoned with salt and pepper and put in a pan with the butter, and as soon as it melts, the fillet is served, bathed with its sauce and accompanied with the fried onion and mashed potatoes.
Fried onion: Salt is added to the onion, it is passed through the flour and it is fried in the hot oil until it is golden brown.
Mashed potatoes: The hot potato is passed through the potato press, the hot milk is added little by little, mixing the butter, salt, pepper and nutmeg very well.
