Surprisingly unexplored, the part of the Nayarit coast that corresponds to Banderas Bay offers the visitor a series of highly attractive options from a tourist point of view

This incredible development has taken place very recently and has been planned to attract a special type of tourist, one who is interested in both sports-related activities and nature observation; one who seeks to rest, relax the body and mind, and the lover of good food; all this respecting the rich ecological environment of the area.

In this part of the bay, various sites have been promoted for this tourist and residential development, such as Punta Mita, where the luxurious Four Seasons hotel is located; Flamingos, with the Riu hotel, with 700 rooms and an all-inclusive plan; Costa Banderas, with a modern and beautiful neighborhood and its Los Veneros beach club, located on Las Estilerías beach; There is also the pleasant hotel Viva Vallarta, with a very accessible all-inclusive plan and excellent facilities, as well as a “relax pool” where only adults can be; Nuevo Vallarta, with three golf clubs and hotels such as the Mayan Palace, which is also building several apartment buildings; from the Gran Velas, just opened in December, beautifully decorated and with a luxury all-inclusive plan, and from Sayulita, where a nice development of private houses is also planned.

Each of these complexes has a beach –some even with a golf course–, a hotel and commercial zone and a residential development area that has multiple acquisition options for those interested (private property, timeshares, etc.) and that offers both apartments like houses, villas and even ranches. These complexes have been planned with a long-term vision, always seeking to preserve the natural beauty of the area, the diversity of its flora and fauna, and the rich cultural tradition that nurtures it.

Some of these hotels, such as the Four Seasons and the Gran Velas, have spas equipped with the highest technology, in which the most varied treatments are offered to the visitor to relax the body and mind.

For tourism interested in ethnic and cultural issues, excursions are made by plane to the Sierra Madre, where the Huichol people live, a group that has preserved their lifestyle, culture and traditions intact since pre-Columbian times. Also for fans of activities such as diving and fishing, excursions are organized to the best places.

Nuevo Vallarta has two well-equipped marinas, Marina Norte and Marina Paradise, which is part of the Village Paradise, which integrate spaces for 297 boats in floating docks of 41 and 45 feet average, with drinking water services, showers, toilets, electricity, meteorological information, security and radio communication, as well as other services integrated into the hotel and a good shopping center where you can buy Huichol handicrafts.
