In what was the old indigenous neighborhood of El Alto, the temple of San Francisco is located, built between 1550 and 1767 on one side of the old river bed. On its façade there is an admirable decorative composition with images of vases and flowers, highlighting the churrigueresque stone façade from the 18th century, alternating with religious images.
