HOUSE OF CULTURE

It occupies what was the ancestral mansion of the Potosino historian Joaquín Sáinz Meade, with a collection of archaeological pieces, works of art, crafts and paintings from the 16th to the 18th centuries.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

POTOSINO REGIONAL MUSEUM

Located in the San Francisco convent, it offers a very complete panorama of the history of the entity, which ranges from the pre-Hispanic cultures that populated the region to the arrival of the Spanish and the development of the colonial period. Be sure to visit the Aranzazú Chapel located at the top of the museum.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

NATIONAL MUSEUM OF THE MASK

Installed in a beautiful eclectic-style mansion, built in 1894 for the family of Don Ramón Martí, this original museum has more than 2,000 masks from almost all the states of the Mexican Republic.

Open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

MUSEUM OF HUASTECA CULTURE

It is part of the Cultural Center of the Huasteca Potosina. In it the most relevant aspects of the Huastecos are exhibited, such as their pre-Hispanic antecedents, their customs, their way of life and their ethnic features.

Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

MUSEO REGIONAL HUASTECO A.C. "JOAQUÍN MEADE"

It has a valuable archaeological collection of pieces that were rescued in the places where the Huasteca culture developed. Ceramic objects stand out.

Open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
