Property of Don Agustín de Iturbide, head of the Trigarante army, this building -located in the Historic Center of Mexico City-, has an imposing beauty that you cannot stop admiring.

Superb building in whose facade the elegant combination of the quarry and the tezontle stands out, the Iturbide Palace is the only palatial residence of the s. XVIII that was built on four levels.

The pilasters that flank the door are beautifully carved in quarry with a profusion of vegetal guides, in which we see flowers, children and double-tailed mermaids. The window frames and balconies are also beautiful.

Inside the building, now fitted out to present temporary exhibitions, the eighteen arches with Tuscan columns in the courtyard stand out.

Location: Francisco I. Madero, No. 17, Centro Histórico, Mexico City
