We present some tips that will be the perfect complement to your trip.

The gullies and ravines of La Michilía are a perfect setting for practicing some sports such as mountaineering and hiking, but we recommend taking extreme precautions to avoid accidents, and preferably attend with an experienced group that uses all the necessary resources for the sport to be safe.

Another place that you can also visit is Tamazula, located 239 km west of Santiago Papasquiaro, located near the state of Sinaloa. In this interesting but distant place, in addition to the surrounding hills and rock walls that attract athletes, there are the remains of a small parish dedicated to San Ignacio de Loyola, belonging to the 18th century, as well as an old house of stone that is said was the place where the first president of Mexico, Guadalupe Victoria, was born. To get to Súchil you can follow highway 23, from the city of Durango and then route 26 to Camellones, to finally take an alternate road, for about 112 km more.
