A few days ago, Xel-Há had the honor of receiving the Distinctive "H" from the Ministry of Tourism and other public and private organizations.
Regarding the distinctive "H", it is worth mentioning that this Program is promoted by the Ministry of Tourism, -in coordination with other organizations of the public, private and social sectors-, since 1990, also identified as the Tourism and Health Program, and that its purpose is to generate a culture of quality, hygiene and safety in the preparation, handling and handling of the food offered in the different food and beverage establishments of the country.
Program “H” contemplates compliance with the objectives set by SECTUR in terms of quality, safety and hygiene, as well as the regulations established by the Ministry of Health and the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) so that the Providers of food and beverage services, in a voluntary way, implement it and agree to certify its compliance, thus obtaining the Distinctive "H", which is a recognition that accredits the establishment that it has achieved excellence in the hygienic handling of food .
