Built between 1723 and 1734 as a simple chapel, the building was enlarged towards the end of the 18th century and was restored in the 19th and early 20th centuries.

This temple was dedicated to the Capuchin nuns and consists of a very sober Baroque-style façade and two side facades, like those of the nun's temples, which display an interesting decoration with attached columns that separate the facades, sculptures, and base finishes. of scrolls with a certain air of the Mexican baroque style.
