The Government Palace is another example of the magnificent architecture that we can find in Hermosillo. On its interior walls important episodes of Sonoran history were painted in fresco. and if history is precisely the reason for your visit, be sure to go to the Sonora Museum, located in the building of the old penitentiary, with 18 very interesting rooms open to the public.
