The Sierra de Manantlán Biosphere Reserve is located in the region corresponding to Autlán, in the State of Jalisco, covering a small area of ​​the State of Colima.

In the town of Minatitlán, the visitor will be able to enjoy the wonderful landscapes of the State of Colima.

First of all, we recommend you visit the Ojo de Mar lagoon, where it is possible to carry out countless camps and hikes in an area of ​​22 km around, where the main town, El Terrero, is also inserted.

Nearby, you can also enjoy the beautiful view provided by the Minatitlán Waterfall, formed by the river of the same name. These sites are located just 55 km from the City of Colima.

To get there, you can go from Autlán, Jalisco, by highway No. 54, to the south, and take the deviation at the height of Colima that goes to Minatitlán.
