Day 1. Friday, October 31, 2008
Mexico City - Oaxaca City
Depart from Mexico City to Oaxaca by plane.
Check-in at the hotel and tour the city. Visit to the church of Santo Domingo where we will observe the altars of the dead.
Market visit
Back to the hotel
Talk about the tradition of the Day of the Dead in Oaxaca.
Lunch en route.
At night visit two pantheons, to deposit the offerings where we will learn about the legends related to the ritual of the Day of the Dead.

Day 2. Saturday, November 1, 2008
Oaxaca City - Monte Alban - Sierra Mazateca
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Monte Alban. Continuation to the Sierra Mazateca, lunch en route.
Arrival at the Sierra Mazateca (San Mateo Yoloxotitlan), registration and preparation to participate in the conformation of an altar, with a temacal bath and a clean one, before depositing the offering.
Visit to the regional pantheon to witness the celebration.
Dinner in the house where the altar is made.

Sierra Mazateca
Breakfast in the cabins
Coexistence with the Mazatec ethnic group, where we will share the experience of a horseback ride through the mountains and a bath in the waterfall; We will also have talks with the local people about their worldview and their interpretation of human life with respect to the universe.
