It occupies part of the municipalities of Monterrey, Allende, García, Montemorelos, Rayones, Santa Catarina, Santiago and San Pedro Garza García.

Treasures: It consists of a series of geological formations, with monumental rock walls, canyons, valleys and rivers. Among the latter are the Santa Catarina, Pesquería and San Juan, which pass through deep canyons and ravines that create waterfalls such as Chipitín and Cola de Caballo; they also feed the water tables of Monterrey. It has arid areas, pine and oak forests, grasslands and scrublands, where more than 300 species of animals live, about 50 of them are protected.

How to get: Along various roads and paths, through Santa Catarina and Garza García, and the best known is by highway No. 85 to Linares and Santiago.

How to enjoy it: You can do ecotourism, mountaineering, rappelling, caving and wildlife observation. It is a landscape linked to Monterrey, where its inhabitants carry out various outdoor activities.
