Follow this simple recipe to make fritters with cottage cheese. A delicious dessert to delight you.
INGREDIENTS
(For 8 to 10 people)
- ½ kilo of flour sifted
- 125 grams of lard
- ½ teaspoon of anise dissolved in 1 cup of water
- Corn oil for frying
- 500 grams of cottage cheese
For honey
- 1 liter of water
- ½ kilo of piloncillo
- 1 cinnamon stick
PREPARATION
The flour is kneaded very well with the butter and the aniseed water until a smooth and manageable dough is obtained. Let it rest for an hour, make some balls and spread them on a floured table with a stick, giving them a round shape and helping to spread them with your fingers. The oil is heated and there the fritters are browned, they are drained on absorbent paper, they are placed on a plate, the broken cottage cheese is placed on top and they are bathed with honey.
Honey
In a saucepan put the piloncillo in pieces, the water and the cinnamon and let it boil until it is thick.
