INGREDIENTS
(For 10 people)
- 150 grams of sugar
- 150 grams of piloncillo in pieces
- ½ cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of anise
- ½ kilo of lard or vegetable shortening
- 2 eggs
- 1 kilo of flour for tortillas
PREPARATION
Make a honey over the fire with the sugar, the brown sugar, the water and the anise and let it cool. The butter is beaten very well, the eggs are added, and while beating, the flour and honey are added little by little. The pasta is made into a ball (if necessary, add a little water). Pieces of the pasta are taken, churritos are made and then a donut is placed on a greased baking tray. They are put in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for 12 to 15 minutes or until they are well cooked and golden brown.
