INGREDIENTS (8 PEOPLE)

For the shrimp mash

- 400 grams of cooked shrimp.

- 4 tablespoons of corn oil.

- 2 teaspoons of crumbled dried oregano.

- 1 finely chopped small onion.

- 1 small poblano pepper, ginned and finely chopped.

- 1 small tomato, peeled and finely chopped.

- Garlic salt to taste.

- Pepper to taste

For the fish mash

- 400 grams of fish (grouper, saw, snapper, etc.) cooked and finely chopped.

- 4 tablespoons of corn oil.

- 1 finely chopped small onion.

- 1 small poblano pepper, ginned and finely chopped.

- 1 large tomato, peeled, ginned and finely chopped.

- Garlic salt to taste.

- Pepper to taste.

PREPARATION

The shrimp is flattened very well with a meat masher and then with your hands to crumble it perfectly; Sauté in hot oil and add the garlic salt, pepper, oregano, onion and chili. All this is sautéed until the onion is seasoned, then the tomato is added, seasoned very well and served.

Fish mash

It is made the same as shrimp but without flattening the fish with the meat masher.
