Red snapper and snook ceviche recipe

Make a special ceviche with the recipe from the La Morena restaurant that México Desconocido has for you. Prepare this red snapper and snook ceviche!

INGREDIENTS

(For 8 people)

  • 1 kilo of red snapper or bass fillet very well washed
  • the juice of 20 lemons
  • 8 small or 6 medium tomatoes, peeled, ginned and diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium bunch cilantro, minced
  • 1 cup of ketchup
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can of pickled chili rajas

To accompany:

  • Freshly made tortillas
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Chopped onion

PREPARATION

The fish fillets are diced removing anything that appears black or reddish. They are bathed with the lemon juice and left to rest for four hours. Drain and wash very well with water to remove the excess lemon, mix with the rest of the ingredients, except the chili peppers. It is seasoned with salt and pepper and the pickled peppers, putting the latter on a separate plate so that each guest can serve themselves as they please. Let it rest for 20 minutes in the refrigerator and serve with freshly made tortillas and cilantro and onion placed on a separate plate.

In deep glass or crystal dishes.
