Pijijiapan, one of the most picturesque places in southern Chiapas
Near El Triunfo is located the town of Pijijiapan, one of the most picturesque places in southern Chiapas, whose buildings offer a faithful image of the lifestyle of rural communities at the beginning of the 20th century. Pijijiapan is best known for the quality of its dairy products, especially cheeses, which are distributed on a large scale during the December Cheese Fair and Exhibition. This site is located 76 km northwest of Acapetagua, the easiest access being the one that follows route No. 200, coming from Escuintla.
El Triunfo is located 180 km southeast of the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, in the surroundings of the town of Ángel Albino Corzo. To get there you can access by state highway No. 28 from the state capital to Parral, passing through Mexican Revolution and Independence.
