Young couples are always looking for good places to enjoy the beauties of life, practice adventure sports, taste tasty things and enjoy nightlife.

It is for these reasons that we want to share with these boys and girls the best destinations for young couples in Mexico, destinations that will make your next vacation or weekend outing a charming and unforgettable trip.

The best destinations for young couples in Mexico:

1. Sayulita, Nayarit

The Bay of Banderas is one of the most exciting beach destinations in the Riviera Nayarit and among its beach towns Sayulita stands out.

A young couple has a lot to do in Sayulita, on the main beach. This is excellent for surfing and if you are apprehensive because you are beginners, in the sand there are some schools with competent instructors who will teach you in a short time the tricks to start successfully in the discipline.

Crossing the local cemetery you reach Playa los Muertos, which is calmer and ideal for swimming.

In Sayulita you can board a boat that will take you on a fun ride through the Bay of Banderas and places to do snorkel, snorkeling and kayaking and canoeing.

They can also do tours to the beautiful Marietas Islands and whale and dolphin watching.

2. Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur

This South Californian spa town has become one of the most appreciated destinations for young couples in Mexico for its beautiful, warm and clean beaches.

The tourist introduction to Cabo San Lucas are the natural monument El Arco and Playa del Amor.

El Arco is an arched opening in a rocky promontory that is the most photographed spot in Los Cabos. For its part, Playa del Amor is a beautiful nearby sandy area, with the waters full of little fish, while –somewhat far away– the sea lions rest comfortably.

The desert landscapes of the municipality of Los Cabos offer the opportunity for you to ride a camel with your partner to do one of the most exciting rides you can imagine. To do this, you just have to contact Outback & Camel Safari.

Likewise, the flight in an ultralight, with Cabo Sky Tours, offers a wonderful perspective to admire Los Cabos from above.

Los Cabos is a great place for sport fishing as it is the meeting point of the waters of the Pacific Ocean with those of the Gulf of California.

3. Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo

Playa del Carmen is close to Cancun as a tourist infrastructure and is closer to some great attractions for young people in the Riviera Maya, such as the Xcaret, Xplor and Xel-Há parks.

These ecological adventure parks are the best in the Riviera Maya, gathering cenotes, caves, zip lines, rustic tours, diving, archaeological sites and splendid places to observe biodiversity.

The beaches of Playa del Carmen, in a dazzling Caribbean Sea with turquoise blue waters, offer all the beach entertainment and its bars and restaurants are ready to meet any request from bathers.

If you want to go shopping or just go for a walk or dinner, the best place in Playa del Carmen is Fifth Avenue, with exclusive shops, galleries, cafes, restaurants and many attractions along the way.

Three great occasions to go to Playa are at carnival; in May, when the Sacred Mayan Journey to Cozumel takes place; and in November, during the weekend that corresponds to Thanksgiving, when the city is filled with music with the Riviera Maya Jazz Festival.

4. La Huasteca Potosina, San Luis Potosí

La Huasteca Potosina is a paradise of waters and spectacular landscapes that will enchant a young couple who love nature.

The Huasteca civilization developed in a vast territory that today belongs to six Mexican states, but San Luis Potosí is the entity most intensely identified with the Huastec culture.

It is a large mountainous area that touches 20 municipalities of Potosí, dotted with lakes and watered by rivers and streams that form beautiful waterfalls and natural pools.

In the fast rivers of the Huasteca, you and your partner can do rafting; on the slopes of the mountains there are great rocky slopes for climbing and rappelling; and in the lakes there are beauties to see them diving.

In the municipality of Aquismón there is the married woman from Tamul, which at 105 meters is the highest in the Huasteca region. Other beautiful waterfalls are Micos, El Meco, Minas Viejas and El Naranjo.

A place to know is the Edward James Surrealist Garden, a set of sculptures and buildings amid the lush foliage.

5. Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco

PV brings together beaches, a vibrant boardwalk, the Romantic Zone, architectural attractions and many other places and things of interest for the enjoyment of a young couple on a leisure trip.

The boardwalk in front of the ocean is the soul of the city, with its kilometer in length constellated by sculptures and its cafes and restaurants where you can sit and enjoy life with the sea as a witness.

Playa de los Muertos is the liveliest and busiest beach in PV. It is located in the southern part of the boardwalk and its old name, due to the proximity of a cemetery, has nothing to do with its exciting activity.

The boardwalk and Playa de los Muertos constitute one of the limits of Old Vallarta, called the Romantic Zone for the serene beauty of the environment and its peaceful cafes, restaurants and hotels that are cozy havens for lovers.

PV has an annual calendar full of events that complement its magnificent tourist offer, distinguishing itself from the May Cultural Festival (which celebrates the founding of the city) and the Puerto Vallarta International Gourmet Festival (held in November).

Fishermen from Puerto Escondido arrive at this sandy area with their boats full of seafood and from there the boats that take tourists to fish and observe dolphins and turtles depart.

Many Mexican surfers believe that the best beach in the country for this sport is Zicatela, in Puerto Escondido. The waves can rise up to 6 meters and it is frequented by experienced surfers from all over the world.

In the oldest part of the city of Puerto Escondido there is a sector called El Adoquín, which is closed at night to vehicular traffic so that people can comfortably entertain themselves in its cafes, restaurants and bars.

7. Ensenada, Baja California

This Baja California city has the key to two wonderful gates, the one to the sea and the one to the Valle de Guadalupe wine region.

Ensenada is the starting point of the Valle de Guadalupe Wine Route. The city is surrounded by noble grape vineyards and wineries where the best wines in the country are grown.

A tour of the city's Vine and Wine Museum teaches the history of viticulture, showing the equipment and tools used in this fascinating activity since ancient times.

8. Coatepec, Veracruz

The fragrance of coffee and the beauty of orchids sit wonderfully with a couple in love and both are at their best in the Magic Town of Veracruz in Coatepec.

This town has the right climate, fertility and height for the coffee trees and orchids to flourish in splendor, and residents of nearby towns flock to town in search of these delicacies for the senses whenever they can.

Coatepec preserves a coffee tradition that began during the viceroyalty and the aroma of coffee is felt in cafes, houses and in the allusive museum.

The cold and mist-covered forests of the Coatepec mountain ranges are a privileged home to beautiful species of orchids and bromeliads that the locals learned to plant in their gardens and public areas to beautify the town.

In the Museo Jardín de Coatepec there are about 5000 varieties of this genus of plants, so you will get tired of seeing orchids of all kinds.

El Chico, in the heart of the Sierra de Pachuca, awaits young couples to shelter them with its sedative calm at more than 2300 meters above sea level.
