If you are an avid reader you should visit the Trinity College Library in Dublin. This incredible 300-year-old library is a long room built between 1712 and 1732

One of the great views of the library is' 'The Long room' '' (the long room) a masterpiece of grandiose architecture that spans about 213 feet in length. With the goal of accommodating over 200,000 books here, annexes were made to it in the 1850s.

The reason so many books belong to this library is that in 1801 the library was given the right to claim a free copy of every book published in Great Britain and Ireland. You will not only find common books here, but some of the rarest and most valuable in the world.

The library remains the largest in the country in terms of size, and is home to some of the most rare and valuable books in the world including The book of Kells written by Monks, over 1,200 years ago. Also, the library holds one of the unique copies of the 1976 Irish Republic Proclamation.

The Long room is made of carved wood with marble busts dedicated to the world's greatest minds, including Isaac Newton, Plato, and Aristotle.

The library is adorned with many valuable ancient artifacts, including a 15th century harp.
