In the Tlalpan Delegation the pleasant Bosque de Tlalpan awaits you, a place full of trees and nature to enjoy a day of picnic or exercise.
The best family outing in the Tlalpan delegation is the one that can be done to this fragrant forest of pines, oyameles, cedars, oaks and eucalyptus. Open to the public since 1968, in what was once the Pedregal National Park, it is ideal for exercise or picnics. It has parking, cabins-dining rooms to rest and eat, playgrounds and very diverse activities in the House of Culture.
The terrain of the Tlalpan Forest, made up of volcanic lava, is very rugged but walking along it, accompanied by a guide and with the permission of the administration, until entering the reserved areas where there are -among the fauna- hawks, hawks, squirrels and tlacoaches, it's a delightful experience.
